Maisa Garcia-Fernandez from Action for Children's Trafford Time Out Project organised a fundraising concert at The Art Centre in Bollington Nr Macclesfield on Sat 23rd June 2012 during Young Carers Week.  This was to raise awareness for young carers and to celebrate the many wonderful stories and the daily activities that these extraordinary young people of 'Action for Children's Trafford Time Out Project' do for their loved ones.

Action for Children hosted an informal and fun 'Big Band' evening with Spaniards selling a wide range of Real Spanish tapas and the Bollington Book club cooked delicious cakes and muffins to go with the free tea/coffee.

The 'Big Band ' came from Wilmslow and has already raised £6.000 in previous fundraising concerts in 2012 for Cheshire East Hospice. The16 musicians are brilliant and have often two or three final students from Cheethams School of Music in Manchester.
