A New Force in Cheshire East - Local Healthwatch

A powerful new organisation is to be set up in each local area known as Healthwatch in April 2013. This will act as a new local consumer champion for Health and Social Care in place of LINKs (Local Involvement Networks).

Its main roles will be to:

Provide information and advice to the public on Health and Social Care services
To monitor and listen to the views of the public on Health and Social Care services
To influence the way Health and Social Care services are provided in the future

Cheshire East Council and other stakeholders are currently deciding how Healthwatch should be set up in Cheshire East and have asked for indiiduals to fill in a questionnaire to share their views. A link is also available to a printable version including in easy read format.
