Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive, therapy using the universal energy that surrounds us and permeates all living things in order to unblock and rebalance the flow of the energy in the recipient. The parasympathetic nervous system is activated, calming adrenaline and promoting healing.  It is a relaxing treatment.

To receive Reiki, a person will usually lie, fully clothed, on a therapy couch, but it may also be given successfully if sitting is preferred or necessary due to health conditions.  The therapist places their hands lightly on the body and they rest there for a length of time before moving on to another position.  It is very settling and restful

After Reiki you will usually feel very relaxed and have an increased sense of well-being.  People often report an improvement in stress-related health issues, and other conditions may benefit.
